Removal notice of Welfare and Resources Centre

A specific “Moving Fund” was established by our Society in March 2010 to raise HK$500,000 for the removal of our Centre. Despite the fund seeing an accumulated sum of HK$130,666 only up until March 2012, our target to move to a better premise can now finally be reached taking out of our financial reserve. In the past two years, all proceeds made in our retail business have been channeled to our financial reserve except to pay for the daily operation of the society and the medical needs of rabbits. As a matter of fact, our removal plan could not come true without the support and donations of all our members. In future, with our self-financed status, we will still adhere to our principal of being a no-kill organization while providing rehabilitation and rehoming services to abandoned rabbits.

Security measure to be followed when entering Fuk Hong Industrial Building during late hours:

When entering the building after 7pm, members are required by the security company to show the HKRS membership card; or the HKID card instead if the membership card has been lost, in which case a new membership card will be issued at our centre. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors for their generosity and our members for the support they have rendered to us over the years. We also owe a debt of gratitude for the contribution of the executive committee of HKRS, staff members and all volunteers.

Our special thanks also go to the following parties (in chronological order):

1. Logistics Expert (Group) Ltd. for providing a free moving service.

2. Victory United Eng. Ltd. for renovating the venue at a discounted price.
